Tile & Grout Cleaning

Tiling in the home is an investment, and we at Blue Ribbon Floor Care understand that you want to keep it looking its best. We use only Neutral pH balanced cleaner to safely clean your hard surface flooring.

We first start by identifying the surface and then choosing the best method in which to clean the hard surface area. Not all hard surfaces are to be cleaned in the same manner. Natural stones are by far the easiest to destroy and cause color changes in. These stones, whether they are marble, slate, or granite, must all be handled carefully to insure the best results. At Blue Ribbon Floor Care we have the experience to give you the best results available for all your tiling and grouting needs.

Resealing after cleaning is recommended. This makes the maintenance of your flooring much easier, and in natural stones it helps to prevent staining and discoloring. During the evaluation part of our visit we will go over the sealing and what parts of your flooring need to be resealed. Many try to sell that the tile and grout of all flooring must be sealed, and this is simple not true. Let Blue Ribbon care for your flooring and show the difference that a professionally cleaned floor can look in your home.

Procedure for Hard Surface Cleaning

  1. Determine what your cleaning needs are.
  2. Explain the type and care of the flooring you have.
  3. Go over the recommended cleaning process and the Quote.
  4. Cleaning begins with moving all furniture and items that have been agreed upon to be moved.
  5. We apply the pre-spray designed specifically for your hard surface flooring
  6. The pre-spray is agitated and allowed to work toward loosening the soils.
  7. A high pressure rinse is used in combination with a high vacuum to remove the soils and cleaner from the flooring. The rinsing process is done slow to insure that all the cleaner is removed. This is a very important step and all too often cleaners rush this and do not get the desired results.
  8. The last step is to seal the grout and/or tile when requested.
